For those that don’t know much about me here is a quick run down of what I’m currently doing work/career wise.

  1. MSc student
  2. Primary school PE teacher/coach
  3. Write this blog
  4. Write for universitynutrition.co.uk
  5. Work at my university part time at the sports centre

and number 6 is what I’m constantly working on.. BUSINESS.

I am largely influenced by business. I am always thinking of ways that people can improve their business, how I can create my own businesses, what makes business “go round” and have read numerous business books (Richard Branson being my main idol/inspiration). 

I am starting to build a business plan for beginner nutrition, I am teaming up with my mate Leighton Bellamore (who also has a blog leightonbellamore.wordpress.com) with his PT/S&C business and I’ve just wrote my first 2 client packs. 

I have lots to learn about nutrition but I believe I have a good base. I am interested in performance and how to manipulate the way the body looks but I am currently interested in what foods makes people feel good and how it affects their work.  

Anyway.

I am starting to build up a client portfolio and help improve people’s lives. I have worked on a few people for free so far and given in depth advice to many people. I understand that we live in a world where life isn’t perfect and a diet on a piece of paper may look good but if it’s not practical then it’s pointless.

This is myself, still no where near where I want to be but there is a clear improvement. I’m currently sitting at 10% body fat and not necessarily trying to be that lean but the way I eat keeps me in this condition (apologies for the faces).

I’ve just put together my first two client packs for which I charged. I’m very pleased that I am building a reputation and people are prepared to pay for my services. 

I charge a small amount compared to many people you will see online as I feel I still have so much to learn and that needs to be justified in the price. However I am not concerned with making a mint at the moment; it’s about improving my experience and learning everyday. I want to make people happy and show them how powerful food is. 

What I understand and care about is that people are more than thrilled with the product they’ve received. I am completely happy to refund someone if they are not happy with my services.
