Very quick post as to why you should avoid skimmed and semi skimmed milk and opt for whole milk.
I used to drink skimmed milk because it had less fat (which I used to think was a good thing)..
That’s the reason everyone drinks it surely?
It doesn’t taste as good for sure.
Here’s 3 big reasons why you should drink whole milk..
1- our bodies cannot digest the protein or calcium without the fat (so what’s the point drinking it?)
2- vitamins A and D are fat soluble and require fat to be absorbed.
3- Fat doesn’t make you fat.. There a “good” and “bad” fats (that’s another post on its own). Whole milk is optimal compared to skimmed and semi skimmed.
